Right now the stuff that really irks me(or makes me dislike people in general) is all this ALS ice bucket bullshit. A lot of people I know are just doing it for the shits and giggle and it's become a pathological behavior. The TV stars that do it actually mention the cause, all these other assholes are just doing it 'cause its the latest fad.

He means not everybody is donating or realizing the cause of the challenge, some people do it because it is another challenge to do

It's not just for donations, that challenge has clearly raised tons of awareness, and the more people who know about it the more people who donate

Let's think about breast cancer awareness. If you haven't heard of breast cancer, then you're a -blam!-ing backwoods redneck, and even then we still don't have a cure.

As far as I'm aware there is no cure for ALS, and I doubt that this challenge is going to create one, but I don't see your point. It's for research on the disorder.

I know this, but the way the challenge was originally supposed to go was dump ice water over your head and donate some money to the ALS association
