I've noticed a few people doubt the 360 will be a successful platform for this game but actually the figures suggest that it will be the most popular platform in the next two years partly due to the failure of the XBOX ONE to sell. The success of the PS4 will divide the playstation community across two consoles while the XBOX community will predominantly play on their existing console hardware which is the 360 while the tied in subscription mechanisms for LIVE will prevent deviation from existing services. As overall both manufacturers have the same numbers of units in homes and there's no evidence of favour for any platform other that some brief hint from bungie that they prefer PS4 it stands to reason that the largest portion of players will be on 360. However as console sales for the 360 dimish and players move to new games incoming players will more likely be starting with new hardware and given expected standards; consoles set their footprint in the first two to three years it can be assumed that it could be the timescale for a shift in player distribution.
