I find it so interesting how strong of friendships and communal bonds can be made from playing games with friends and strangers alike. I was wondering where everyone's origins came from in terms of gaming. For me, my first game was Altered Beast on the Sega Master system. My dad picked this up for me in the 80s when I was only 4. We kicked ass together and it was pretty graphic for a 4 year old to play. Punching and kicking zombies and beasts that exploded into pieces lol It was rereleased on the Sega Genesis (which I still own). It's still a lot of fun to play today too.
So what is everyone's story here?

First system I myself owned was the Original Xbox, I'm 17 now so you know I started gaming late< I was around 10 when I got the system and Halo CE with it. The first game I ever played was, I believe, either Worlds Most Deadliest Police Chases, Tomb Raider 1, or CTR Racing which were all on the Playstation. I also played a lot of Tony Hawk Skater so I don't remember the first game I played.

Been around since the glory days of the allmighty Intellivision! Practically shat my pants from the tension of playing Night Stalker. Drew maps and layouts for each floor in D&D: Treasure of Tarmin. Settled feuds in Battleship (Curse you and your expertly placed sea mine!!!). I could go on... And on... And on...

Playstation One and Dreamcast
