Raids should be 3 or more people
I think personally getting 3 friends to raid is a non issue but 6 simultaneously with no match making is next to impossible and for that to be needed or you won't have the ability to experience a large part of the game you paid to experience is a big f*** you to the consumers who make the experience possible and alienates the large majority #justmy2cents

13 RepliesDon't try ruin my experience because you don't want to find a few more people. I took my time to find people to play with. Trust me, if it's anything like raiding in MMORPGs but turned into an action shooter you will really enjoy doing it with 6 people. There are reasons why they want 6 players for it. It's nothing like 24 people I got together with to raid in other games.

With no chat function and the tower lobbies limited to 16 people, there will be no peace with all of the random invites going around, and if you don't have enough friends on you will be forced to log onto the forums all the time or send out a bunch of invites to random people who don't know why you're inviting them. Sounds kind of like matchmaking if we can't get a chat feature.

Unless you're on the PS4 and don't have a clan, I don't see the problem here. Raids in World of Warcraft are 10 and 25 manned. There is no exception as before the LFR system there was the term "join a Pug raid". What pug means is joining up with random people with a leader that has set rules to follow while raiding. They can range from, "what's your gear look like?", "are you good at dealing, healing, taking damage quickly and efficiently?", "do you already know the mechanics?", "oh he's my best friend don't question him/her I'm carrying them.", etc. I promise you, you won't have this issue unless you're super anti-social, hate people, don't like listening to simple instructions, or simply an arrogant bastard with no moral consciousness for others. Now if your issue is no friends, then join my clan, "Lagiacrus" before it's too late. To be honest the number of friends is a preference. Strikes are a 3 person mission/instance etc etc. So a raid is a higher difficulty so its really only logical that you need twice the people. Compared to other games like world of warcraft , everquest, lotro 6 people is rather small to be honest. You are howver entitled to your opnion I'm just saying theres worse scenarios when it comes to raiding.

I have 3 friends playing Destiny on the same console as myself, and I'm worried about this, but not to the point where I would just not bother using the community tools like the forums, large groups already set up, clan linking (I swear I didn't dream this!) and randomly friending people through encounters with them, be it exploring the moon, kicking ass in the crucible, or completing a strike. Don't just give up because you don't want to interact with others. Sure a lot of people are asshats, who knows maybe your one and you dont even know it, but an even larger chuck of our collective community are awesome, decent people! Give love a chance Gaurdian!

just play the damn game and make new friends then take on raids. Thats the point they want you to make friends in game and raid with them.

3 RepliesMake friends. It's not that hard to do. Be social, friendly, inclusive and outgoing. I met someone new just about every time I played the alpha and beta. My friends list shot up from 5 to 80.

There is something called organization in wich 6 ppl can organize to be all online said day at said time to train in raid

4 RepliesTo me I would just group 2 different sets of "friends" Real life friends. Destiny friends. When I raided in other games I didn't always know everyone I raided with from the start. It was usually friends of friends and all that. But at the end of the experience I made new friends. You don't have to only use your real life friends. There were people I raided with I only talked to when I raided. All you need is 6 people that have the desire to raid. 6 people willing to stick with the hardships for the spoils. All you need is 6 people that can be on at the same time on a regular basis. These people don't even have to be any one you know now. With all the comments in the forum it would seem many many people feel finding 5 other friends to raid will be difficult. So it would be an easy transition for those people to get together and raid with each other. Don't focus on the negative but on the positive. It would seem many people are in the same boat about raiding. Maybe fill a "clan" or group of everyone thinking it will be difficult to get 6 people together. List multiple raid times day and night. Have people sign up. Raid.

In SWTOR I raided with 7 people on NiM because I was dedicated and the people I raided with were dedicated. Stop your complaining. Hardcore raiding is not for casuals.

3 RepliesIts not impossible. You have to add randoms from various sources, instead of being put in a game with them. Use the forums. Spam ppl in the tower or in PvE. And go to Strikes and ask ppl of they want to Raid with you. I know it isn't ideal. But that is how the game is, unless there will be some changes.

1 ReplyNo offense to you or anybody else who is mad that there's no matchmaking with raids, but I'm getting really tired of hearing all of the complaining about the topic. First of all, it's hardly a larger part of the game than LASO (since almost everybody compares this to Bungie's past products). It's not like there's 10 different raids for us to complete. Secondly, it's not like there was matchmaking for multiplayer LASO. If you wanted to take it on with other people, you HAD to schedule a time. The only argument anybody has is that it requires 6 people, and I'm going to be honest. That's a lot. I'm going to have difficulty finding time with 5 other friends to complete this challenge. But I'm going to be hopeful that maybe this will get me and my friends to work together for a change. And unlike LASO, you can save progress and resume at a later time. I see no reason to complain.

8 Replieshey bro dont want to offend you look i understand peeps wants to play with less players thinking that it is possible but bungie stated that u will need 6 players to have a CHANCE of completing and to be very truly honest if u cannot find 6 players that u like to play destiny you should not play it really not joking. during the beta were 4.5million people playing the game if u cant find 6 players... make ur own conclusions
