Two major injuries have been reported, and hospitals have been very busy with moderate injuries, Napa Division Fire Chief John Callanan said earlier.
God damn it, Nappa!

That'll learn ya for building homes on the San Andreas Fault.

Let this serve as a Lesson Napa. Brick buildings are shit for earthquake regions. Had you built like the rest of California, there would not have been as much damage. Mississippi river valley? Let this serve as a warning. When the New Madrid fault gives off another Earthquake. Every city from Chicago to New Orleans will be in trouble.

Isn't California known for their earthquakes

Yep this was a pretty big one even though it was only a 6.0 it was really shallow so it felt bigger than it was. I live about 50 miles away and girlfriend and I both woke up asked why the other was shaking the bed.

I remember I slept right through a big earthquake when I was 6. Parents picked me up out of my bed, ran out yelling, put me back in bed when it ended and I woke up at 11 sleeping a whole 14 hours.
