Alright guys, in the achievements shown for destiny, killing a "champion of the dark" makes you a "dragon slayer" Now, we know that the game is a sci fi-fantasy blend. And dragons have been a HUGE part of fantasy forever. The RPG Dungeons and dragons has been credited with creating the most basic of RPG elements, such as leveling and getting loot. That's dungeons and DRAGONS. We know very little about the darkness, other than it is a force that nearly killed the traveller. But now, we know that dragons have something to do with the darkness, even if it's just a name. So, dragons confirmed? ALSO, does anybody remember hearing something about "world destroying monsters" or something along those lines years ago? I think in an interview a while back, someone mentioned some colossal force. Like this. Perhaps the dragons? EDIT: Well guys, today the launch trailer came out, and in it the narrator speaks of new unique enemies, and we see an giant Cabal, A scary looking Fallen Captain, and one of those dragon things from Venus. Bungie is insinuating that we will fight those things, or something like those things. AND, in the beta we saw a legendary weapon called the Cryptic Dragon, and it's flavor text was "Those who doubt the existence of dragons are always the first" What do y'all think? And also [spoiler]where have these dragon threads been? And where has Helveck been? I remember he used to always mention dragons. [/spoiler]
