How accurate is midrange hip firing with an auto rifle in the crucible? Is it like CoD to where you need a hip fire perk to make it more accurate?

Its really weapon specific. There are no perks per say. But u may find certain weapons with a upgrade/perk that increases hip fire accuracy/damage. Cod and and destiny cant really be compared. Completly different games.
