There is going to be a subset of gamers who will marathon through Destiny in the first 48-72hr (with little-to-no sleep) that will show up here complaining that there is not enough content.
To those I say.... You're doing it wrong. You shouldn't race through an RPG. It ruins the experience, because you blow past a lot of awesome moments.
Bonus Theory: I'm hypothesizing that to help curve how fast people consume Destiny content, Bungie may temporary lock out certain activities (in some form or fashion). So you can't burn through the entire game in a 24hr Day-1 speed run. We'll see if that turns out to be the case.

I think I might abandon the forums after release until I finish the story. The population of trolls here makes me so spoiler anxious lol
release is sure to bring even more
Edited by Beewaxers: 8/20/2014 12:53:21 AMJust practicing in the beta, I can tell regardless of supposed content size, this game is gonna keep me going for a long long time. I honestly think we'll have quite a large core of gamers playing Destiny for forever.

That's a safe prediction, it would be nice if people enjoyed the game.

Well nightfall missions are weekly and daily so there are those lock outs. Not sure if they have said whether or not the Vault of Glass is a lockout but I would suspect weekly. So people will likely come on claiming lack of content in the first few days because some people like doing that troll thing and some are filthy casuals. Any hardcore player knows you aren't done till you have best in slot top tier gear which I'm suspecting will at least take a few raid runs to get if you are lucky. I'm thinking 3 weeks is when we will see people are fully geared for specific builds and only have the Crucible left to do.

I know. That's terrible for their health. Last thing anyone needs is a gamer illness related to the launch of this game. I'm trying to make some friends out there. Check out my community hub post.
