Hey guys! Okay so I've been away at camp for the past week, working as a camp counsellor and group MC. I've had a ton of fun but I was really missing my Destiny fix.
So picture this:
I get home, power up IGN and am reminded that I have a whole new world of content to read up on from Gamescom. I soon end up on YouTube where I begin to watch the Sony Press Conference. I get about halfway when Destiny comes on and shows off that flashy new Crucible trailer and finally my Destiny itch is scratched and I can breath again. Then I see it: a Titan smashes down onto a Control point and as he rises from his carnage up goes a force field protecting his allies and himself from harm!
This. Is. Amazing!!
My jaw hit the floor. I immediately snapped the screenshot above and paused my viewing of the conference so I could high-tail it over here to talk about how awesomely important a Titan with this ability could be in a PvP setting. I absolutely MUST have one on my fireteam!!
Currently, Titans are our lowest population here at FWC according to the poll I posted earlier this month yet they seem to be a hugely valuable class! So here's the take-home guardians: if you haven't yet cast your vote on your choice class please head over to the poll and sound off. Also, if you are on the fence between the Titan and some other class, please realize that we are in need of strong Titan's with a cooperative attitude to aid their brother in the trenches of the Crucible.
Protect my hunter beneath your simmering shield and I'll have your back for life.
See you starside!

I do agree that we should have some sort of protection Titan on a PVP fire team. It would be interesting to test out multiple titans for small squads during pvp to develop a strategy to maximize the effect of a force shield
