It's funny because you have to spend 2x the money to get a rig good enough to handle this game on Ultra settings with 60 fps. I've never understood the "PC master race" thing. Yeah, no shit I'm going to have better graphics if I throw a thousand dollars into a computer.

One word: Steam. I spent about $50 during the steam summer sale and got Skyrim (and DLC), Deus Ex (and DLC), Fallout 3, Fallout 3: New Vegas, and Dragon Age (and DLC). Plus I can download mods, addons, and player-gennerated content for free.

This dude knows where it's at. Steam master race.
-
I my self bought and built my own pc spent a pretty good amount I also have a ps4 and Xbox one I use my ps4 and pc the most I do have to say that some games are a lot better in my opinion on pc.
-
$1k? Lol you wouldn't get better graphics than console. You really need to drop $1500 or more on a pc.
-
I would say anywhere between $1000 - $1500, you're right. My PC was about $1200 and there's no way I would be able to handle Destiny at 1080p 60 fps.
-
The price for a gaming pc has remained neatly the same since the last one i built. A C2D e8400 geforce 8800 4gigs ram. Cost me 1800. Funny thing is, what increased my KD the most? A DeathAdder. $80 did more than 1800. Now im gonna be trying to get $150-$300 out of this box.
-
GOD Darm!!! DUDE just build your own! IT IS SO MUCH CHEAPER!
-
You probably could, just not on a high texture setting.
-
Right, but I'm saying the full blown console quality game (at 60 fps).
-
Oh yeah you're right.
-
Depends how much you game. Games on the PC tend to be significantly cheaper.
-
I've got a high end pc and a ps4 and although pc is better quality the price you have to pay for what is often only a small improvement is a waste of money, I actually prefer my ps4. Now that may change a few years down the line when the consoles get abit older and pc has moved on abit further but for now only a fool would waste so much money. Most top games are developed with console in mind so graphics are still only slightly better on pc, I only play pc for mmos because that's where most of those types of games are otherwise console is the obvious choice at the moment.
-
That's exactly how I feel about this generation of consoles. PC's were a lot better than the 360 and PS3, but it's a waste of money to get a good PC if you're not an avid PC gamer.
-
Pc has more potential than counsels is all.. I play ps4 and pc and iv accepted this fact.
-
Hardware you buy for PC is obsolete in 3-4 years. The current gen of consoles gives you a lot more bang for your buck than a thousand dollar PC.
-
Because pc is always evolving something counsels can't do. Also it still works 3-4 years later just can't run new games on max settings.
-
But you can't spell consoles. Maybe you should evolve.
-
Oh sorry iv learned 3 languages and English spelling is harder for me.
-
That's too bad, I can understand since English is the hardest language.
-
They could but no one would pay to upgrade them. Look at the adoption rate of the 32X for Sega Genesis...hardly anyone bought it.
-
True... Idk pc games are very cheap compared to counsel as well. That's a big seller for me and is why I even tried pc.
-
I haven't been big into since CoD (that's right no number or subtitle just the first one) BF2 and 2142. My PC couldn't handle 2142 very well because it was a pre-built and a lot harder to build PCs back then, there wasn't as much info on what to build it with. Now I could but don't care I am too use to consoles now.
-
PC just looks better. Sorry.
-
Right, if I throw twice the amount of money on it as I would a console.
-
You do but it won't struggle on 60 fps maybe 120+
