pretty simple, i think that since the community of nintendo are trying to get a reference/tribute to robin williams in the next Zelda game, i think its only right that the XBOX and PlayStation community does the same for destiny.
im tapped for ideas but i would liked to hear what you have to say.
im getting the feeling that no one knows that Robin Williams was more then just an actor, that's OK. he was an entertainer sure but he was also an amazing person with a lot to give the world, please just google robin williams accomplishments & donations, it might enlighten you what you find.
thank you.
edit2: just to make it known a tribute doesnt have to be huge like a statue or a expansion. it could be as small as a set of gloves, it doesnt even have to tie into the lore either, all of the halo games had Easter eggs that we just there for the hell of it some that didnt even make you laugh but just scoffed in amusement.

I'm sorry but I'm getting really sick of this crap. -blam!- him, you shouldn't be immortalized in every damn game that gets made because you decide to kill yourself. This may sound cruel, but thousands of people commit suicide every day. This obsession we have with Hollywood is beyond stupid. Great, they make a damn entertainment product that entertains us for a couple of hours. They aren't any better or worse than anyone else, yet we obsess over them because we see them on TV. Have to know everything they do, what they wear, who they -blam!-, what they had for dinner. Ever think that maybe it's the constant harassment, the complete lack of privacy, every little detail of their life scrutinized by so called "fans" etc that may contribute to depression so severe someone would take their own life? 22 vets a day, people that put their life on the line for this country and nobody gives a crap, but someone that acts like a dumbass on TV for millions of dollars does it, and it's a big deal.

It'll be fun. It'll be nice. It PROBABLY won't take that much time. Maybe you could have the words inscribed on a mountain
-
Good grief. I for one mourned the loss of RW deeply. His life and death both had a great impact on me personally. But we don't need some memorial for him in every game that comes out this year FFS.
-
Soldiers dying overseas and you want an Easter egg for a Comedian/Actor who committed suicide?
-
No. Let the man rest. All the pictures and videos and tributes...they won't bring him back. He made his own immortality already. Let him go.
-
Put him in as a random npc in the tower who only says "hey wanna hang out" or " how's it hangin" lol
-
While I have nothing against the guy he was pretty damn awesome but A) he has no connection to Destiny and B) his acting category was comedy last I heard Destiny isn't a comedy.
-
No. Nothing special. You don't even see other celebrities that died and put into a game as tribute. I can see they didn't do one for Michael Clarke Duncan or Michael Jackson or Paul Walker xD
-
Edited by Invidia: 8/17/2014 1:28:34 PMNo, the man was a comedy legend but he doesn't need to be memorialized in every video game. Also, Nintendo probably isn't going to put something of him in a Zelda game, however Blizzard has already confirmed they will be doing so.
-
No offense to the man. He's a good guy. Truly is. Yet people die everyday. Everyday. People young and old, famous or not.
-
Wasn't this a suicide? If it was, why would I show respect for a weak human who takes the easy way out
-
Why don't they add a tribute to fallen soldiers? Why don't they give a tribute to the people that die every day? I loved Robin Williams, but I don't think he should have a tribute in this game. Yes, his light is gone but it is up to us to remember it, not the developers to remind us about it
-
He already is going into the legend of zelda. He wasn't a fan of this like wow or zelda.
-
Why? The zelda thing makes a bit of sense because he was a big zelda fan but why would they put him in Destiny?
-
-
The reason for Zelda is because it was well known he was a huge fan of the series. Even named his Daughter Zelda. So it would be fitting to pay tribute in that game.
-
How about a special ghost, and when you rub it, the blue genie from Aladdin pops out
-
Robin Williams beard? You could hive bees in that thing
-
Yes its a good idea, and as for an idea a genie lamp somewhere in a cave in open world ?
-
He probably didn't even know what Destiny is. Besides, Blizzard is already doing something for him in World of Warcraft, as RW loved the game.
-
I'm very proud of you Desticles after viewing the poll results. WE WONT LET AUTISM WIN!

Edited by Mandingo: 8/16/2014 2:32:05 PMWhat is the link between Bungie and Robin Williams ? and who cares !!!!! You talking about him like he change the world and change every one lives. shut the hell up and leave the guy alone
-
Edited by chad_599: 8/16/2014 2:02:47 PMNo to easter egg, although I would have been interested in hearing him being a voice character for the ghost.
-
I prefer no easter eggs or any tribute. I play this game to have fun in another world and for a few hours forget real life, not be reminded by it. Do we really have to have a tribute or an Easter egg for every famous guy that died?
-
I think they want his tribute in the next Zelda because he was an avid fan of the games.
-
I think you missed the part where his daughter is actually named Zelda. He has nothing to do with Bungie, at all.
