Anyone who has played Last of Us, or any other shooter on MP, knows how sad the PSN is compared to the xbox community in terms of shooters/communication. 15% of PSNers use a mic, hardly ever use any teamwork, and have terrible dueling skills. It is not your (PSN) fault, you haven't had the proper shooters to cultivate your shooting skills into an honest to God FPSer's paradise of ownage. The time has not been put in to develop the skills necessary for a proper shooter.
Who saw it in the beta? PSN players would do the dumbest things, jumping in the air like a clay pidgeon, and take the worst routes to an objective, while xboners would take you head on and duel you for control of the lane, and use their mics to coordinate an effort.
Xbox people have had many FPS games to cultivate their skills, while PSNers had what? I'm sorry to say this, but Xboxers know how to fight in a shooter. PSNers are but peasants compared to the true kings of the shooter.
Debate all you want, but the facts speak for themselves. Facts are: tournaments, competitive play, and MLG. Which system do they usually choose? Xbox.
Here's hoping Destiny transforms you into the shooters we need you to be. Welcome to the realm of FPSers.

Edited by JEGVL: 8/16/2014 5:53:31 PMThe percentage is up on PS4 if this was the case. A lot of 360 to PS4 converts, including myself.
-
Have you even played on playstation 4 you dumb F#ck, In many lobbies have I heard many people talk, so stop talking out of your A$$. Now its time for real facts, over 70% players on PSN players are skilled due to the fact that many gamers (not fanboys) who previously had a Xbox 360 migrated to PS4, this is mainly because the huge problems the Xbox one had when they first revealed (DRM, Game Sharing Etc...) this put many players off the Xbox one.

Edited by Malfeitor: 8/16/2014 5:15:02 PMI think PSN users have had FPS's for a while now. It's just most of the use tactics have been applied in co-op. Think we have lacked games other then MAG that required teamwork. I don't think CoD or BF required teamwork to be essential. I for one was excited to learn the control it takes in Destiny mainly for the PVE. And I hope it carries into PvP. The PvP will be something I use to earn faction weapons and armor. I want organization and fun in PvP, but I don't care for the rankings though.

Im slightly offended by this me being a psn player I like communication and I'm not afraid to take a someone head on cause i'll knock a bitch out brother you just opened up pandora's box on this subject.
-
Lol this guy hahahaha PSN use strategies there not dumb enough just to go head just to have 50% chance on taking the other guy out . They rather have 80% on wining
-
It's not shooters it's the whole ps3-worst-multiplayer-support-of-any-console*. No one went to ps3 for the multiplayer but the RPGs and the exclusives which are so much better (as 360 totally flopped in japan) But as there is a larger install base for ps4 and as solid multiplayer games like Destiny will come out people will simply improve their equipment as needed. it took me a few battered xbox 360 mics of varying quality before i bought my astros. *The wii and wiiU are not consoles but waste of monies

I find it funny how this is all about bashing ps players because they have never had halo and are supposably "worse at shooters" then xbox players. So if it was switched around, where playstation had halo and not xbox. Would that make ps players better at shooter games then xbox players?
-
you on drugs ?

Ya just for my experience in the Destiny beta I would have to agree with you I play the first couple days on my PS4 but why it came out on the XBO I hoped over. My kill/death was a whole 1(1.7 on XBL vs 2.6 on PSN) point higher on PSN compared to XBL however this doesn't mean it has a worse community just a more unskilled community I guess. Also the more people on one platform the more bad people there are going to be and it seems like PS will have the larger community which isn't necessarily a good thing just look at free to play games like League of Legends the community has gotten so bad over the years as the community has grown.
-
What are you talking about? I never experience any of this... I always hear mic chatter and even if I'm playing a game like battlefield, someone with a mic is always eager to start coordinating the second you talk to them...
-
Not have Mics? Considering the system comes with one, I am sure that is false. And just because they don't have their Mic on in-game doesn't mean they don't have one. Party Chat is a thing. As for the rest of your points, Troll is a troll, and non of this is fact.

God dang spellcheck it goes pan instead if psn
-
Oh please, if it were to come down hopefully in a cross platiform deathmatch. Xbox would be piling up the corpses many ps users
-
Well, I went from xbox 360 to ps4 and I see what your saying in a lot of aspects. However, psn just didnt have halo, yet they cod and battlefield. Although it does seem that more people are less skilled on psn than xbox in my opinion.
-
Some pan user are in party chat u know some of us don't use public chat
Xbox people have had Halo to cultivate their skills, while PSNers had what? Killzone? A laughable comparison. I'm sorry to say this, but xboners know how to fight in a shooter. PSNers are but peasants compared to the true kings of the....
Did you know that people who own a playstation can also own an xbox? It's more than a little ridiculous to say that "PSNers" could only play Killzone to experience a shooter..

PSN is terrible PvP compared to Xbox. That's why I love it! I was 360 and played CoD and a Lil Halo 3 PvP. Once I tried CoD BO on a friends ps3.....me and my bro wrecked face with the starter weapons. I now am on PS4 though....its nice...don't usually have to try to do well in PvP
-
I'm an Xboner myself, but it's a known fact that Sony has been about the RPG side of things and Microsoft has been for the FPS. Quit the hate, moron.
-
Must because playstation 3 was more of the casual gamer scene, Though that's seeming to change with the PS4 I'm noticing.
-
Well it's a good thing I had a 360 before I switched to PSN.
-
#nomnom lol What's messed up is even if trolling your still mostly right. Xbox party chat has always been superior to PS. Even their tiny headset that comes with the X1 is better for communicating than say the P4C. PS players don't like communicating from my experience so far. But the more Xbox users that come over to PS will change it. Not sure why PlayStation users act like shut ins. But I still use my PS4 more than my X1. Thing is I don't need 10 loud, obnoxious players in every match. I just want 2 or 3 people that communicate well and enjoy talking with friends.
-
I noticed this going from the 360 to ps3, on xbox live It felt more challenging to get to the top of the list in a match, on ps3 it was happening every other game lol. Hopefully more of the competitive community had shifted over to the ps4 where about 50% of destiny games will be played on. We'll see soon enough, happy gunning

You might want to clean off your screen after that Xbox fangasm you just had.
-
If only you could show us on the PSN how great you guys are....If. I don't really care one way or the other between Xbox or PS but really glad we have individual servers so people like this won't demean themselves to intermingle with the likes of us.
