Anyone who has played Last of Us, or any other shooter on MP, knows how sad the PSN is compared to the xbox community in terms of shooters/communication. 15% of PSNers use a mic, hardly ever use any teamwork, and have terrible dueling skills. It is not your (PSN) fault, you haven't had the proper shooters to cultivate your shooting skills into an honest to God FPSer's paradise of ownage. The time has not been put in to develop the skills necessary for a proper shooter.
Who saw it in the beta? PSN players would do the dumbest things, jumping in the air like a clay pidgeon, and take the worst routes to an objective, while xboners would take you head on and duel you for control of the lane, and use their mics to coordinate an effort.
Xbox people have had many FPS games to cultivate their skills, while PSNers had what? I'm sorry to say this, but Xboxers know how to fight in a shooter. PSNers are but peasants compared to the true kings of the shooter.
Debate all you want, but the facts speak for themselves. Facts are: tournaments, competitive play, and MLG. Which system do they usually choose? Xbox.
Here's hoping Destiny transforms you into the shooters we need you to be. Welcome to the realm of FPSers.

Ok I use PSN sure it gets annoying sometimes when people don't mic up but hell if your running with randoms its the risk you take. On the flip side if I ever play any game on my mates Xbone it sounds like a dam Elvin and the chipmunks concert. Sometimes silence is golden.
-
My friend always complains that nobody on PSN uses a mic and when they do they never speak. Haven't had that problem on Xbox.
-
Soooo many children here, as well as on Xbx. Glad i dont have to listen to them in game as well
-
The way I used to look at it was, with Xbox you always had to pay for live so you took online a little more serious (I did at least) so I considered it to be for the most "serious" gamers averaging about 2-5 hours of gaming a day. As where PS was basically free to play so it seemed more like the "casual" gamer system most players averaging out 1-3 hours a day. Then you had the Wii which was just for fun, pick up anywhere and play for a few minutes/party gaming system. I think with the exodus of a lot of Xbox players to the PS4 (I myself included) the online community will change just hopefully for the better.
-
MLG doesn't "choose". Its basically who gives them money. Look into it. Xbox has given them the most support

Been playing halo since 2001..I'm sure I'm not the only Halo vet who has made the switch from Xbox to ps4. We are bringing the ownage to psn.
-
I am a psn player, I also used to have an xbox. I played countless hours of halo and as a psn player who is experienced in shooters I would just like to say that your statement does not go for all psn players. You can say that some are bad but not every Playstation owner sucks at shooters.
-
Lol #nomnom -blam!-ing troll....
-
My time in the ps3 beta resulted in many new friends unlike my xbox one time. Looking forward to making more in the xbox one version though!
-
Pretty sure you're trolling, but just in cause you are not, there is a lot of really good players on PSN. Also, about 95% of my friends have a mic.
-
I know that this is trolling but I must say playing a shooter isn't neccessarily rocket science. Pretty easy to play imo. I didn't get big into until I played Fallout 3, then shifted to Borderlands 1&2. Also party chat. That's all I'm gonna say about that because PSN people already know.

Edited by Soaringeagle61: 8/17/2014 1:19:34 AMI and all my friends have mics and for the record I actually prefer psn over xbox live, less whiners and kids and just all around general annoyances in my experience.
-
And let me guess, you play on xbox? Im sorry your little owners that you call microsoft are losing to sony 3-1 atm. It might be even 4-1 because sony just hit 10 million sales, soooo.... Your comment is kind of invalid
-
Edited by theterabyter10: 8/16/2014 11:47:47 PMDamn I'm seriously thirsty for some tears after the destiny beta. How about you hop on the crucible on ps4 when destiny releases. So I can squeeze some rage tears out of you?
-
The first thing I did after getting my PS4 was get a headset. I will talk to the team even if nobody is talking back. Sometimes people just sit down to play by themselves and don't have their mic hooked up, but if somebody starts talking to them it might encourage them to mic up.
-
I played on the 360 before buying a PS4. Both xbox and PSN have really good players, and really bad players. There's absolutely no skill difference between the two communities
-
so you're saying Halo & now titanfall have made xboxers a better fps gamer, where's proof?
-
Obvious Troll
Funny to watch a few Xboners puffing their chests out thinking they're all that on this thread though!
Edited by DawnBlue: 8/16/2014 5:05:48 PM
Welcome to the realm of FPSers.
I'm not gonna bother with you. Small minded idiots are usually not open for discussion or ever gonna change, for that matter. I've played FPS games since PS2. The door is that way ->
-
I don't get the point to this. Is it to call PSN players bad? Is it to call XBL players good? And if either is the case, then what? Then we continue to go about our day slightly dumber for having read something like this?
-
Do you understand that a large portion of the Xbox community switched to PSN right? So by dissing them, you are insulting people that came from your own community. I am going to assume that you are a troll that loves to stir up a mess and leave it at that.
What has happened to humanity today? *pulls out revolver* BAM! I am dead now thanks. :)
I played 360 and nobody spoke to anybody. On top of that I found an absence of teamwork for the most part. There were some gems of course who managed to communicate through greetings and pointing but most jumped around like idiots. It was incredibly amusing and I can't wait to see it some more come release but I can say both console groups have good and bad community members.
-
Dang... The ignorance is big in this one haha. I usually have much more severe annoyances on xbox
-
The virgin is strong in this one
-
I mean i play halo and am pretty good at it and alot of other shooters on xbox while my main console is PS i play my other games. From experience the xbox players get way more annoying since there are way more little kids and teamkilling... Though i still like both just more a PS person
-
Edited by JEGVL: 8/16/2014 5:53:31 PMThe percentage is up on PS4 if this was the case. A lot of 360 to PS4 converts, including myself.
