Where do you think the City is located? And How much do you think it cost to live there? I think this could possibly be Seattle, after Bungie conquers the world/golden age.
My favorite so far,
Nemesis's theory-
im gonna go ahead and say it wasnt a city because if it was there would be more golden age technology(if we have any at all) i think that to escape the mass genocide we made a city directly under the traveller and that it was made with the name the last great city
Another good point
Trash242's observation-
If it was in Russia, you'd see the Traveller in the sky when you were in old Russia. It's really big and the city was built under it. You can see it over the city but not in Russia.
Edited by Kurupter: 8/14/2014 7:24:38 PMI'm thinking its Greece for the following reasons. Travel time between Russia and the tower takes a while, but you do go to orbit first. The cut scene of traveling through a storm in the first or second mission could be anywhere. Due to the high storm activity and crosswinds, it reminds me of traveling through a a storm over a large body of water, like the Mediterranean. Armor pieces are strongly influenced by Greek and Roman times, and can be clearly shown in the Titan class items. Here's the big clue, Latin words on the Map and that on the city floor shows the culture of the region. Now I may be wrong, but the first place that popped in my mind is Vatican City. Doesn't necessarily mean it's exactly the Vatican, but rather the general region. Edit: I shouldn't read and post right after I wake up, my grammar is nonsense.
