I did a search of the clans here at b.net to look at joining one and noticed something that was very misleading. One called Destiny Cafe had over 5700 members and I was impressed since it was so big. After looking throught the forum area I saw numerous pages of threads and thought Wow! this is a massive clan. Looking closer and then visiting their webite I found out the membership was from and old dead forge group that had long ago left and that about 10 people made up the forum and the clan, which were the forum members themselves. This is BS in my opinion and false everything that some previous group that was something years ago and is now no more than a few friends can represent a clan of nearly 6000 members. Why does Bungie allow this kind of false information to be used? It is clearly beyond misleading, it is a flat out lie.
