Actually that is not true Deej talked in forums about sending the input to the design teams. They originally didn't put open chat in for the players. "Don't want players ruining others player experiences." You can't deny that statement when it comes to voicechat, I've muted lots of people in other games. So the community cries about the voice chat is being heard.
