This is a great PR move by Bungie and Activision. It shows they have content in the pipeline. Also, it's Christmas break.

I'll agree that the early release of DLC seems a little sneaky, but knowing the BUNGIE team and knowing how intently they work towards game quality I can imagine they are attempting to give the world a bit of an extra boost for those gamers who will power through everything within the first 2 months. Knowing the size of the game, and how quickly I powered through 3 different characters to level 8 and managed to get one of them completely maxed on gear in the beta, I imagine a bit of DLC would be nice. I imagine it's stuff they wanted to get out on release but had to push back due to time constraints. This will most likely be a timeline that allows them to expand even further on what they can fit into the DLC pack, as it will be stuff they've most likely already been working on.

No. Bethesda has had reasonable DLC within 3 months of release. My concern is the amount of content available. 20 dollars for something that sounds deliberately held back smacks of Activision bullshit. Steep price.

didn't they mean like that the first expansion will be available for ALL in december? like it's only PS exclusive till then?

I do, I was thinking at least 6 months before the first one released and a year for second one
