A Texas mother says she and her three kids were tossed out of a pizza place after she changed a baby's diaper at the table.
Miranda Sowers told KHOU that she first took her 4-month-old daughter to the restroom of the Brother's Pizza Express in Spring, but found it didn't have a changing table.
So she went back to her table and took matters into her own hands.
"I thought you know what I've got my own changing pad, she's tiny, she fits right here on the chair," Sowers was quoted as saying. "So I laid her down quickly and quietly changed her diaper."
The restaurant says its staff made the right call -- that no one wants to eat while a baby's being changed nearby.
"As soon as you start opening the diaper, people start complaining about the smell of the diaper," manager Donny Lala told the station. "Last thing I want is a customer throwing up."
Do people really think changing their baby's shit at a table in a restaurant is an acceptable thing to do? It's shit. At a table. Of course you're going to get kicked out of a place if you start rubbing shit on their tables.

They shoulda had changing tables, but that doesn't mean she shoulda done the table, that's just gross

Edited by Kira3973: 8/11/2014 6:16:06 PMAny restaurant should always have a changing station in both the men's and women's bathroom and if they don't then BOOM there goes the dynamite and that is the restaurants fault...
-
It's more unsanitary than anything.
-
The patriarchy strikes again!
-
"Hey look, a bathroom stall! I could put the lid down on the toilet and lay a blanket down, then change my baby!" Hey look, my car! I could go change the baby there!" Neither of those thoughts occurred to her.
-
Why didn't she take her child out to her car and change the kid there?
This is what I thought too
-
Omg, you totally don't respect the sanctity of a mother/baby relationship! It's NATURAL! Now excuse me while I take off my jock strap in the middle of her living room.
-
That's disgusting. At least use the bathroom. Or take the kid out to the car.
-
-blam!- no. I'd bash 'er hed in I swere on me mum
-
Why didn't she take her child out to her car and change the kid there?
Why didn't she take her child out to her car and change the kid there?
^common sense^
-
I spent 4 hours decompressing and now I'm -blam!-ing angry again, good job OP
-
>Move the child to the car >Change diaper there >Go back inside and sit back down (after you wash of course) It's freaking simple.
-
Edited by qy: 8/11/2014 5:32:37 PMYeah that's what bathrooms are for. Or go out to your car.
-
That was the right call.
-
What an idiot.

Edited by -Hawk-: 8/11/2014 4:33:43 PMWhy does the restaurant not have a change table in the bathroom, we have them in men's and women's rooms here. Although I do agree that its not appropriate to change a diaper at the dinner table.
-
People will be idiots
-
Yeah and when everyone gets food poisoning from fecal to food transfer happens, people can sue her dumbass. Yeah it's pretty bad there is no changing table but Jesus lady, change the kid in your car.
-
To be honest....no such places have baby/toddler changing toilets for exactly this reason you can't just open up a pouch of human waste on a surface others will have their food served on even if it will be on plates etc it's extremely unhygienic and not to off putting for other customers at other tables.
-
That's definitely not ok. That's unsanitary
-
Wtf dumb bitch Baby nappies stink up a whole a room, nobody wants to smell that
