Level 20 Is not the end of the story. Merely the beginning of a new chapter.
For those who don't know level 20 is not the level cap. Merely the level bungie predicts you to be when you finish the story...for now. Bungie designer Luke Smith goes in to detail about life after level 20

1 ReplyMotes if Light = Currency. Gear with light stat increases your level past 20 when equipped. Get it right.
