I don't think Crucible removes unlocked special abilities: "ads increases effective range", chain of woe, missed shits have a chance of returning ammo to the clip. Tho perks that increase weapon damage are suspended.
What I was wondering: is there any difference to damage with ads vs hip fire?
(I did have a weapon perk on my Sahara-AR3, 'Focused Fire'.)
But in general, without any perks, does ads change the damage, or is it the same as with hip fire?
While I'm typing this, it seems absurd that ads would do less damage...
but... that's what the guy in the video was saying, so I thought I'd ask...

Crucible does take out unlocked abilities as well. My rocket launcher had the "tri-pod" perk (which adds an extra two rockets to fire without having to reload) but only held one rocket in chamber for Crucible matches.
