how is not tea bagging "preserving the game"? How is tea bagging having no "integrity"? it is simply spamming the crouch button on top of someones body, which suggests the sexual term for "tea bagging".
Yeah, and farting during a funeral mass is just the release of gas produced by bacteria in the gut - a completely natural phenomenon, so nobody should be offended, right?...
First off, let's get one thing straight - teabagging is just one of several factors I look for when deciding to avoid a player or not. It is not the only thing, just one of the more common ones. You ask how is not teabagging "preserving the game?" because I know what it was like before tebagging was even a thing. I know what it was like before console MP gaming was a thing. I've experienced MP gaming at extremely high levels, in terms of the quality of the community playing the games. Unfortunately, shits gone way the -blam!- downhill since then, turning MP gaming from something I actually look forward to and consistently derive enjoyment from, to the cesspool we have now, that I dread having to tread through.
I understand that different games have different communities, that range from "never play with this -blam!-ing community ever," to "-blam!-ing awesome," But ultimately, in my 15+ yrs. of MP gaming experience, ranging everything from pub-matches to league play, to different genres including FPS, RTS, TBS, RPG, and MMO, the biggest culprit I have found to the decline of online gaming, is the rise of MP gaming on console. I can play the same game on PC and console, and almost always, the console community is the worse of the two.
this thing has been in halo since halo 2,
And your point?... Halo 2 isn't that old. I was already playing games for 19 years when Halo 2 came out, and had 5-6 yrs. experience with online MP. Shit was different before Halo came out...
if you have such a problem with this that you complain about it in a forum, then honestly, you shouldn't be playing the game at all
First off, I never complained about anything - I just shared something I do personally - I think I've had to repeat this like at least 12 times. Second, who are you to tell me what I should or shouldn't be playing? As mentioned above, I have a shit ton of gaming experience. In addition, I also briefly worked as a gaming correspondent on a PC gaming site, as well as racked up hundreds or thousands of forum posts on gaming sites over the years. I've left reviews for countless games, have participated in over a dozen betas, both open and closed, and recently was asked in an email from the CEO from Splash Damage if I wanted to participate the closed alpha for their next upcoming game.
I live and breath games - they are my passion, but apparently because I just won't conform and look at actions such as tea-bagging like how the majority of the community does, I should just hang up my coat and stop participating in MP gaming altogether. Yeah, you and others on here - you argument's on this are rock solid...
