As much as I'd like to say yes, all those extra fancy graphics sound like they would be taxing on the console's processors. I was pretty happy with the current weather in the beta, though. It's really nice when you stop to look at it.

Nonsense. We had weather effects in some games on PS3.

Were they static weather events? Consistent weather in that one area or level? Or was it dynamic weather? Always changing? Those are two very big differences, dynamic weather would be much harder for the last gen processors to handle, and static weather doesn't fit the layout if this game.

That's pretty vague.

He means if it rains in the whole mission the same amount, it's pretty easy for the console to do. Just the same repeated picture falling down at the same speed.

Edited by Seven: 8/6/2014 4:31:27 PMVulper basically summed it up. But, even playing Left 4 Dead multiplayer there was noticeable lag when it began to pour. Op is not just asking for some rain, either. Couple that with the majority of people who want more than just 16 players in the Explore Cosmodrome level and it'll soon become a lag fest.

Maybe next-gen would be able to handle it. Current-gen, probably not.
