This would be awesome, but I doubt it will happen, its too close to release day and it seems to major to be a patch later. Imagine if say in lightning storms you cant call your bike due to interference, enemy ships and walkers fall out the sky and just spaz out shooting wildly... kinda like you have to just hold out until the storm passes.
