it really comes own to marketing and gamers being stupid. Both systems are extremely close in specs. People didn't understand drm and they freaked out. Here we are all on this forum drooling over destiny. a game that can only be played online. When Xbox announced you'd have to be online at east once a day everyone freaked out. Almost every big game coming out is going to ha an online element. But gamers freaked out about having ot be online once a day and a rumor that you couldn't buy used games. Great marketing, terrible marketing by microsoft. Add a bunch of gamers who are uneducated and you have what the reason for Sony's current success. I will say I'm glad it went this way because competition is good for us the consumers and if wasn't for the PS4, Sony would most likely be looking at going belly up. Yes the rest of there stuff is doing that bad. Only there video games and movies are doing okay. There not even making that much profit off of video games so we will see.
