First, showing video because I always show it when threads turn to console wars.
Now my actual post, this was to be a reply to someone here but it would be more helpful the more people to give feedback.
I am planning on getting an Xbox One. But I would like to see what the other side offers so I want you to give a good argument on why I should buy a PlayStation 4 instead of a Xbox One. Also because most people can't tell these apart, These are all opinions, not facts.
The Xbox One's UI is more useful.
Microsoft servers are better.
Xbox One UI and controller is more comfortable.
While it was an awefull idea to forcefully bundle kinect with Xbox One, Kinect has more potential than PS Move.
Xbox One controller is already the standard joypad on PC and I'll be using the controller on PC.
Most PS4 exclusives are actually PC and PS4 and I can just get it on PC.
Xbox 360 Friends, achievements and settings carry over with the account
Some recent last-gen games carry progress to this generation.
Sony is denying their customers EA Access. I find this anticompetitive. They don't want competition to their own service and it should be the customer's choice if it is worth it or not.
Sony is more focused on timed DLC or console exclusives than actual exclusives.
Exclusives I'm interested.
Crackdown
Deadrising 3
Forza 5 and Horizon 2
Halo 1 -5
Inside
Killer Instinct
Ori and the Blind Forest
Phantom Dust
Project Spark
Scalebound
Sunset Overdrive
What games on PS4 fill the same slot?

Edited by Kryptonite: 8/5/2014 5:06:27 PMnot meaning to buy pass game question. but to the console"s. have both always?s buy both console"s . now as far as console"s go general imfo.the PS4 has 1/3 more shader"s in vidie computing power alone.and it also has a frame per second advantage also. that being said my XBOX 1 IS FE-NOMINAL. the XBOX1 the ram is more designed for computing speed.the PS4 ram is gddr5 designed more for video performance . so in the end you can"t go wrong like before with first XBOX360 i went through 5 MY ps2 ps3 & ps4 still sit here in front of me get used every day bought reach edition XBOX360 slim had no more trouble .and a regular dvd movie played on both looked better on PS3 over XBOX360 HAND"S DOWN . now with the new consoles i truly haven"t had long enough to see outstanding difference"s . either console would be a awesome addition to your entertainment system"s. PS.the mic with XBOX1 is better in my opinion.bumper"s better on PS4 contoller but d pad better on XBOX1 controller . i would follow my clan mate"s & friend"s you can"t go wrong ether way this time! BRUTALLY HONEST

Deadrising 3 (on the PC) Inside (timed exclusive ) Project Spark (on the PC)
-
I know the 2 being on PC though I will buy both on Xbox One but what platforms is Inside eventually coming to. It is PlayDead so I'm guessing all platforms but would hope it comes to Xbox 360 since it likely is a low power platformer.
-
Opinions are not ok. That makes you a fan boy. I have both systems and prefer the Xbox over the PS4
-
well shit, im not a fanboy then...now what will I do? Oh yeah, continue playing games. p.s. this is ignoring your entire post and focusing on the vid you posted :P
-
Slight correction: I think it's fair to call the controller advantage factual. It is possible to objectively consider ergonomic design, after all.
-
Nah, people trot the controller argument out so much that's it's now become pretty redundant. There is so little to split the DS4 and XBOX One controllers these days, that any competent gamer really wouldn't give a shit.
-
It's not competence, it's comfort. And in all fairness I can only talk about the "last gen" controllers.
-
DS3 sucked major ass, but as a long time fan of the XBOX controllers (still use mine for PC gaming) in my opinion the DS4 is on a par with the XBOX One.
-
from pictures, I have a hard time believing it'd be as comfortable as the x1's controller, but obviously I can't say for sure. the DS4 is also seemingly loaded with cool extra features, so controllers may be a bit more even these days, but damn do I love the way a xbox1 controller fits in my hands.
-
Edited by Keeyop: 8/6/2014 6:58:49 PMTry it. I have a feeling it will surprise you.

Well, I'll say it appears to definitely be improved... and while I don't wanna say it's a good basis for which controller is actually better, it just looks less comfortable, but I'm sure I'll try it someday and be impressed.

Pretty sure you need to change your emblem BRO!

Edited by xXSir MontyXx: 8/5/2014 4:02:32 PMLol I swear on my Ghost Edition preorder that this damn app replaced your avatar with mine for a little bit. Then right after I made this post it went back to your spartan. :D

Lol did you just really say that you can get ps4 exclusives on pc? Haha I think it's the other way around. You can get Xbox exclusives on pc.

The tile system is a horrible design choice (in my opinion). I could never find stuff on it and would always switch over to the desktop when I use Windows 8 (also a piece of crap [in my opinion]). The DS4 is a larger controller and better fits my hands than the Xbone's, so the controller is really more of a personal preference. You cannot state it as fact that the Xbone controller is better. The touchpad and sixaxis are also really nice in games that use it well. I enjoy some on the augmented reality stuff that has been done with the PS camera and works well with the controller. The Kinect has always felt like a gimic to me and Microsoft hasn't created any first party titles to change that view. Instead of relying on other companies, MS should bloe our minds with the most amazing Kinect game ever. Not Kinect Adventures or any dance games. And MS is more focused on timed DLC than Sony. Look at most multiplatform games coming out and you will more than likely see Xbox exclusive content for it. Exclusives for Sony: Last of Us inFAMOUS Uncharted Bloodborne Killzone Driveclub Plus all the other Indie exclusives for it
-
Last of us and uncharted beat any xbox exclusive for me
-
Same here. I love having characters that I can get invested in and care about. Everyone has their own personal opinions about what console is best for them. Saying yours is better for (insert arbitrary reason here) is just ridiculous.
-
If you love characters that you can get interested in and care about Uncharted and TLOU are not what you're looking for then. They 're pretty generic.
-
Halo and sunset overdrive are the only games ill be gettin on XB1 when i buy it this holiday, PS4 has everything else atm till Halo 5
-
You must like cluttered UI then, cause that is exactly what the home menu is for Xbone. -blam!-ing shit everywhere. Can't even find my damn game to play. Sony? Nice old big list of all my games. Thanks much. Exclusives? You missed a lot for Sony bud, and the exclusives on Sony are from much bigger well known companies and also seem like much better games (Bloodborne = Dark Souls on Next Gen). I only know Halo (Gaylo) and Forza on the Xbox list.
-
Ah damn. I was in agreement with your post until you started using being gay as a derogative. Surely you can think of a better way to say you don't like Halo than to insult every gay person who reads it too? Such a shame.
