Who would you save? Your pet or a stranger?
Let's say...
You're standing on a dock that sits over a lake.
You see your pet and a stranger drowning, your pet on the left and the stranger on the right. They are both the same distance away from you.
You only have time to save one, so you must choose. [b]There's absolutely no way to save both of them.[/b]
So who would you save?

I'd save the person. My dog knows how to swim, and I'll just come back for my dog later. After all, there is no guarantee that the person knows how to swim.

I hate people. But I believe there need to be those willing to sacrifice themselves for humanity to function. I would give my life for another. And proudly have put myself in situations where I was prepared to do so, but just was fortunate enough that it didn't come to my demise.

Since it's a stranger? My pet. If it was someone I actually knew and had some sort of connection with, I might choose them instead, depends on who they were.
