Just realized my wife's birthday is 9/9...
Thus is such a mixed bag for me. I know I can squeeze a few hours in in the morning. Because, "I wanted to make sure you slept in honey. So, I took care of the little one for you." But, the rest of the day is shot I think...
I need help coming up with more excuses for sitting my ass in front of the TV later that day. Thoughts?

So, I called the wife's best friend and they are now going to a fancy wine tasting and dinner! Wife will be stoked for that. That'll get me couple hours guilt free. I'll also have a couple hours while she sleeps in before I make get breakfast. And, when she comes back the rest of my day off will be for the wife.

Just give her a good birthday then to get more time latter. It would be worth it to me.

3 RepliesBeen in this exact position when Final fantasy 10 came out! I bought my girlfriend a load of Spa treatment vouchers dated sporadically over her birthday so she had no choice but to book a weekend away to use them! Spa treatments are Kryptonite to to the fairer sex!

3 RepliesFirst off the 9/9 is a Tuesday who wants to celebrate on a Tuesday. More than likely She has to work or better yet get in touch with her friends and ask them to throw a little girls night Tuesday (if you can afford it say it is on you). Number 2 it will be a midnight release play from the moment you get it to 3am and then get up with the kids make breakfast in bed for her and tell her to go on her very own private shopping spree by herself. Another idea is to schedule a spa day for her and one of her best friends, mom, daughter... and make sure you get her the full kit and kaboodle, that she will be out longer. Or mix and match everything i said her. But honestly the best think to do would be to hire a baby sitter and spoil her all day on Saturday and be up front and honest why you are celebrating it on Saturday and just spoil her rotten, and unless she is evil or cruel or your typical ..... I will stop there. But I hope this helps and good luck!

Breakfast in bed , flowers . Then either take her out for supper or better yet , pay her a day at the spa ... The same day , shes gone for 5hrs n when she comes back shes mellow n calm . You get 5+ hrs easy just there hahahah
