The Purple Ball must be destroyed
Too many of our fellow guardians are ignorant of one simple fact. The purple ball that many love is in fact contains the heart of our greatest enemy, the Darkness. If we are ever to stand a chance of defeating the Darkness, its heart must be destroyed. As long as it is in the last city, the Traveler can not awaken and humanity is doomed. Stand with me guardians, stand against the Darkness!

Me and my friend knocked it off the Tower's edge so many times during the Beta, there is no chance it's still alive. Mission accomplished.
