Actually, this is partially an issue of an incredibly weird error on this site. I was literally in the middle of a completely separate forum topic when replies from THIS topic started showing up. So, to me it looked like this guy had randomly announced in an unrelated forum topic that he was Air Force ROTC, which is part of the reason ire was invoked. In all honesty, I always tell people who are thinking about joining, "Are you joining the military because you want to get in the shit and kill people? No? Then join the Navy or Air Force." You get treated best in Air Force.

......I had a SGT MAJ teenager ROTC kid in High school try and get me to stand at parade rest for him.......... Hm. It didn't end well. I can't lie. My friends died in that -blam!- get uniform. Why do they let ROTC wear full Dress Blues with medals??????

Some high school ROTC cadet tried to do the same to a friend of mine. My buddy was an E-4 and the Cadet literally said, "Well, technically I outrank you, so ...etc" "Bitch, you don't outrank a retarded monkey. You're still in high school. Get out of my damned face before I beat the hell out of you."
