The attached article posted to IGN about an hour ago and is worth a read in it's entirety but I just wanted to let you guys know of it's most salient points as they apply to this Clan.

"According to Smith, raids are, in fact, “one of the pillars of the game.”
Raids are “extremely crafted,” six-player, friends-only gauntlet runs that might best be described as gut-checks. Yes, they will be difficult, and they will absolutely require communication and cooperation. That’s why Bungie isn’t supporting matchmaking for them; the developers don’t want them to be played by disparate groups of strangers. But Smith is quick to point out that they’re not like Strikes – the instanced dungeon-like runs that might take a mere 20-60 minutes – but more like MMO raids in that you’re going to want to buckle up and get comfortable for a couple hours.
“The activity is going to take you and your group of five buddies into a place that you’ve never been,” Smith explains. “A place that you will return to frequently. And [it will] demand of you things you’ve never even really been asked to do in a shooter before.”"
If you are among those who don't have five other friends for this game (me, before starting this clan), this clan will be very useful, both in terms of obtaining multiple PSN friends for this game, as well as increasing your chances of getting enough folks together for a raid any time you log in to play. To all members who haven't yet, I would urge you to post your PSN ID to the PSN IDs Forum Topic, while adding your Clan brethren who post also, giving you a large friend base to go on missions with while in game.
Also, these Clan forums are completely open to all members so if you would like to schedule raids when the time comes feel free to post to garner interest from your fellow Clan mates, or post about other things.
I only started this Clan because I was new to Playstation and lonely, but the OPA may turn into a pretty awesome resource for us old guys. Feel free to make the most of it.
Peace,
C.S.
PS: Remember to include "OPA" in all of your PSN Friend requests, many of us don't accept blank requests!!
UPDATE: I have moved all reference to setting OPA as your Playstation Clan per Bungie's 75 Clanmate limit.....this may be revised in the future!!
UPDATE 2: The Group Wall is at Capacity!! Post to the PSN IDs forum topic instead!!!
