Not part of the armed forces but I'm thinking about it.
Just a question though, if I did join would I have some down time to actually play my xbox?

If you joined the navy it would be about 2ish months before you had "free time"

At some point you will. In boot camp you won't. Well, maybe in Air Force boot camp. :D

Just remember that Air Force enlisted are the smartest of all the enlisted groups. They send their officers out to fight. The others don't. I was enlisted.
