Can not compare to you heroes, but I'm a Navy DEPer. 14Aug ship date. Nuke! Hoping to be an Exo Hunter... Maybe Titan...

It's all mental just don't stress too much about it. My personal preference for prototype was New York, didn't care too much about Goose Creek, SC and it gives you more places to see. Good luck. Oh yeah a quick tip make sure you actually want to stay in before you re-enlist when the time comes, usually at your 2 year mark, nothing is worse than being tempted to stay because of the bonus.

Nice, I was a Navy Nuke, just finished my contract and got out. Prepare for the pain =)
-
Where were you stationed? I was on the USS Enterprise CVN-65. It's being scrapped now but it was a bunch of good and bad memories.
-
George Washington CVN-73 Had a lot of fun times and saw a lot of cool places while there.
-
Good look. Have a high BS tolerance factor. Class 8304.
-
I tip my hat to you.

what system are you playing on???
-
Thanks fellas. Yeah, I get the feeling I won't have much time for destiny at all! What with being at RTC and all.
-
If you want even less time to play destiny, volunteer for sub duty.
-
well you can play but you'll have huge gaps in time where no one will see you online!!!
-
Nukes go through hell in A School but once that's over its smooth sailing. They get a nice resign bonus too.
-
Don't forget power school. Good old memories of that building. Goose Creek, SC. Admiral Rickover will make you feel the pain.
-
A school is just the first half, then you got prototype!!!

Welcome to the family. Don't sell yourself short, or build us up too far.
Most heroes never come home.
