Disclaimer *the video is part of my destiny gameplay (YouTube channel) and is not relevant to this forum post, written advertising at the end of my opinion xD*
People who use forums and are part of the extra community tend not to be a 13 year old assholes that quits after 1 hour into a 16 hour raid.

The point is that once you finish that 16 hour raid, if let's say you find 5 strangers on the forum the possibility that a bond between the players is formed is waaaaay higher (and you get the experience of fighting side by side with a complete stranger and actually making a fire team, just like it should theoretically be in real life), just like bungie desires. I have played WoW and matchmaking a raid or dungeon (even if its waaaay faster) sucks, not only do you not care about the people you are with (which makes the possibility of quitting middle raid skyrocket like -blam!-) but you lose the role playing aspect of the game, you no longer fight with friends or even co-heroes, you fight with "warlock #2" titan #4" "hunter #124523" .
Having to use the forum makes it more "realistic" so it enhances the experience, in the way that you have to actually find the guys you are going to be stuck with for the next 16 hours, bleeding, dying and looting.
Now I have always loved video games, and I have dumb friends.... so why not make a youtube channel?. Well... we might as well try xD
This is the first video I actually talk so I would really appreciate some feedback... and please.. don't make a "grown" man cry with your comments.
