You have your schedule cleared for the next week so you can just play Destiny. No interruptions. You've bought cases of Red bull, Mountain Dew, Doritos, and you've even set something up with your buddy who works at the Pizza Parlor so he'll just bring you some bread sticks every now and again.
You go to the Midnight launch, and you're the second person in line. The one person in front of you is extremely attractive and of your preferred gender. You two talk for a while and they give you their Gamertag/PSN ID to play when together when you get home. The doors open. You get your ghost edition, and you go home.
You turn on your XBone/PS4 to find that it just updated so you have to wait a bit longer for it to start up. In that time you find that your Ghost is defective, but it's okay. You still have the game.
Your console boots up, but doesn't automatically sign you into XBL/PSN. You decide to do so manually, but it doesn't work. You restart your console. Same problem. You try your modem. No luck. You Google the problem. No dice. It goes on like this for an hour until you learn that hackers have shut down PSN, XBL, and Steam.
In your rage you rip up your potential love interest's ID/Gamertag and fall on top of your Xbone/PS4.
It takes 3 months for all three platforms to recover, but even when they do, Destiny's servers are down for another 2.
Sleep well tonight my friends :)
