I've been really into scary movies n stuff lately. Up until recently, I hated them...all of them. But now, I like the suspense and that feeling of...not knowing what to expect. Plus they're all pretty predictable :/
I think my first time seeing a scary movie was when I was around 5yrs old. Because I was so young, it kinda made me hate the genre. Anyways, what are you're favorite scary movies or video games? I might check them out. I've got my adult diaper ready.
Do you like being scared?
First scary movie you saw?
First horror game you played?
If you were in a scary movie, would you die first? Last? Or be the survivor?

Outlast Amnesia: The Dark Descent Silent Hill 1&2 I'll try and think of some more... And I've never really watched any horror movies, except for Alien. So any recommendations would be nice!

Cabin in the woods is a great movie. So is the conjuring. The insidious movies are pretty good too. The most recent game that I've played that scared me was the first dark souls lol. It's not even meant to scare you but I remember holding my shield up all the time and being extremely cautious as I went around corners because I was afraid something would come at me and kill me. If you play it make sure your first time through is completely blind. It will be a much better experience that way. And the very first game that scarred me when I was a little kid was the first resident evil.

Movie? Cabin in the woods. It's technically a comedy movie but it makes fun of horror cliches and it's hilariously clever. Game? Bunker 16. Indie game that may very well make you shit your pants. It's got a great plot and interesting gameplay as well.

What have you watched since you made this thread?
-
Day of the Dead, perhaps?

Edited by Gary: 7/31/2014 1:43:50 AMShutter. V/H/S. V/H/S 2. REC. The Hamiltons. Wicked Little Things. Grave Dancers. Cabin In The Woods. Hobo With A Shotgun. The Haunting of Helena. Rosemary's Baby. Audition. Insidious. Mama. Thirteen Ghosts. Trollhunter.(I think it's categorised as horror.) Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale. And, while it's not a horror movie, God Bless America is one of the best movies I've seen recently. Oh, and, I'm black; so, I wouldn't make it an hour into a horror movie.

Trick or treat... Watch it... Probably the only scary movie I like...
-

Silent Hill, Amnesia, Slender, and maybe Ju-On. All of those are terrifying on a mentally-scarring level.
