DROP ISSUES

one of the things i noticed is that most the time an item dropped for me it was from another players kill. i even decided to experiment with this and would often just sit in the middle of a battle and allow other guardians to kill the beasts. in doing this i noticed that the creatures would still drop items for me even though i did nothing to contribute... how is a trade mechanic that requires near equal items to be offered for the trade to go threw rewarding players that do nothing more then this drop mechanic? if you dont want trade thats fine i can understand that. but dont use the "it rewards lazy players arguments" when there are other factors in place like exp share and this silly drop system, as well as the randomly giving items to players in the crucible.

  • I honestly don't have an issue with it. They're giving everyone who's in the area a change to earn items, if someone's been grinding an area and killing everything before you got there to put a bullet in the enemy you'd be a little upset. If the drops of items worked by whoever got the killing blow on enemy gets loot than it wouldn't be very fair considering anyone can swoop in and steal your kill. I think the way loot drops is fine. As for pvp, I believe the way loot drops is so everyone has a chance at getting something good, not everyone is a star player and everyone has those days where you just can't do good. I think that the top player should at least receive something for being star player. I like how everyone has an equal chance at getting loot.
