Petition to Implement Proximity Chat
Sign here right now if you think Destiny should have Proximity chat.
I think that a game like Destiny should absolutely incorporate Proximity chat. I also think that it's something that we should be able to turn on and off. What do you guys think?

As long as you could mute people easily. Too many people have no sense of mic etiquette and like to share their 'family noise'.

I personally have to agree as well as the Interact having the option to mute anyone that is annoying someone, and it must only be people in your local vicinity like around vendors etc.

2 RepliesI loved the little touches they put on the fireteam chat. Once you're partner or partners went farther away from you they'd sound as though they were talking through a radio. Up close it was like a face to face. Even in rooms the voices would echo! These were nice little features in my opinion. On the note of proximity chat. I don't know. It was always in halo. I guess I wouldn't mind it if you ran into someone exploring that wasn't in your fireteam and just had a chat about what's ahead. Might be a nice feature.

1 ReplyFor a 'social' game, it's pretty quiet out there. They need to either make joining a fireteam less awkward or add proximity chat with muting options (FTW).

Also to those who are stupid enough to vote no, try to explain why you would be opposed to people having more interaction options that don't affect you at all. The only logical reason to oppose it would be just because you hate other people getting what they want.
