Now before I get started let me just clarify something, I absolutely LOVE Destiny and don't consider what I am about to suggest as something that must be added. Just something that may make a small improvement.
Now about that Idea I mentioned, I'm assuming we are all at least somewhat familiar with how the "orbs of lights" are spawned and their function. My idea is simply a possible expansion on said system (and whatever it's correct name may be).
What if damage was also a factor in spawning orbs?. Hear is an example of how that would benefit each class. I will be speaking with the specials available in the beta in mind.
Hunter: Just 1 orb for landing 3 head shots on a boss or separate entities would be a nice reward and improve their ability to help their team mates
Warlock: Again a little more reason to hit those hard to kill bosses and a reward for placing it where the after damage is going to sting
Titan: Now this ones tricky as giving any of the bosses in the beta a good old hulk smash would end in retaliation and any orb generated would be hazardous to collect. Again their is the remaining aoe effect damage to consider but I do feel they'd be getting the short end of the stick. possibly instead a bonus if they distract enemies that are critically damaging allies?
Constructive feedback and ideas, be negative or positive, would be greatly appreciated especially as my knowledge on any class that isn'r hunter is lacking
And just as a little extra their is the sub classes to consider, for example the titans shield would greatly benefits from getting orbs for damage absorbed :D
Thank you for reading, have some love for making it this far
