@Greyman - Dude, I understand your frustration. I really do. I know it sucks to miss out on something as cool as a one time only exclusive offer and then have to sit through and hear about how amazing it was without having been there yourself. I wouldn't wish that on anyone. That being said, there's also this: we were lucky to even GET a beta. Bungie didn't have to do it. I'm thankful to have been able to get hands on time in Old Russia and try out some of the basic starter gear the game had to offer. Bungie picked a day that made the most logical sense. Saturday. Mid after-noon. when the most number of gamers would be available to play. While I understand that a lot of people missed out on the moon, the number who missed it compared to the number who made it is greatly insignificant. I never encountered a Devil Walker world event, but many of my friends said they did. I'm not gonna cancel my pre-order just because I missed something.

  • While I do agree that the time was reasonable, I still think that bungie should gear special events towards the group of people who have been waiting for this game for years. Midday on saturday seems geared more towards children then adults IMO. But I also dont know what other factors went into the decision. All i know is these events seem more geared toward people who have all the time in the world. I work 9 hours a day, with every other weekend off, and of course I worked all day on the day the moon mission was up, and all day yesterday. I didnt even play the last two days of beta because I'm an adult with responsibilities, and somehow even though i buy my own consoles and games, it's mostly 12- 17 year olds that end up in these events and reaping the rewards. But Im not resentful, I'll still play the game and enjoy it heartily. Its just that bungie seems to leave us working gamers out of the equation when it comes to exclusive events and rewards.
