Skyrim has easily this amount of gameplay bud and it came out years ago. Plus Skyrim was full of interactable environments and hidden areas that weren't filled with just loot chests. A game made 3 years later should at least have what Skyrim had if it truly is expansive.

I know Borderlands 2 doesn't have the MMO element that Destiny has, but I'd say it's a game with a scope I find more appealing. Maybe if you actually took a measure of the place space it would not be as large as Destiny, but thanks to diverse environments and enemies, as well as interesting sidequests (and not the cut-and-paste ones I've seen in the Explore area in Destiny), it certainly felt bigger. Also, though Borderlands 2 released an ungodly amount of DLC, they were fun ADDITIONS to the base game, which easily racked up hours of gameplay alone.

And how many players does skyrim support? How much data has to be stored on the cloud and processed with bandwidth? None its a single player game! Cant even compare

Lmfao how many players does Destiny support? It's not even a GD MMO it's a "shared world shooter" that can only support like maybe 8 players max during explore. Don't kid yourself. Take even Elder Scrolls Online, that game lacks content but it actually has a reason, it is a real MMO. Destiny has no excuse it can't even establish what it set out to do.

Ok destiny was set out to be an action adventure shooter shared world! Its already proved that is the case!

I hear its best to compare FPSers to single player nonshooting RPGs and mediocre MMOs.
