Bungie's previous games have had crouch mapped to L stick click since I can remember. Now, you can only map it to a stick click in the "puppeteer" control scheme, and that's only on the R stick click. This is an issue for me since I've been clicking the L stick to crouch every time I stop moving in most FPS games for over a decade.
I can't imagine I'm the only person who is trying to work around this. For me, personally, I greatly prefer Jump, Grenade, Sprint, and Jump functions all mapped differently, as well.
This game is crying out for fully mappable controls. I hope Bungie at least sees this and gives an option that ONLY switches the stick clicks.
Whether this issue gets resolved or not, I'll still be playing. If the beta is any indication, the game will be great, and it's amazingly easy to play with friends. Seamless.

Why don't all games allow you to fully customize the controls like Bethesda allows you to do in their games? I've never understood this.

I felt they covered most FPS control schemes pretty well, but then again I got the control scheme I wanted. Which was the same scheme as Call of Duty. I feel it's the best one, for me at least. It's very intuitive, I find...

On halo 4 and reach i always used the recon control scheme because it was halo 3s control scheme and was exactly why i was so good at halo compared to all my friends. Using puppeteer is livable but completely uncomfortable. We should be able to make our own control schemes.
