I think the weapons need some extra variants to really add some extra content and make the hunt for the perfect gun that much more necessary.
Headshots increase accuracy (auto rifles)
Headshot kills show enemy outlines through cover through the scope (snipers)
2x kills increases fire rate (all)
Each headshot kill slightly regens shield (sniper)
Enemy damaged by pass through bullet takes double damage (sniper, hand canon)
Slug rounds for shotgun
Thermal scopes
Kill steadies burst (burst)
Last bullet fires 2 shots (hand canon)
Last bullet kill causes enemy to explode (sniper)
After kill, next shot causes enemy to to attack friendlies (sniper)
Triple damage but missed shots hurt the shooter (sniper, rocket launcher)
Headshot kills cause next 2 rounds to cause explosive damage (shotgun)
While super charged, gun does double damage (all)
If first shot is a headshot kill, remaining shots in clip will be full auto (hand canon)
Also there needs to be obvious visual effects to the enemy with elemental weapons. All I see is fluffs of orange around the barrel when shooting a fire gun, the enemy changes in no way nor is there elemental damage indicators.
