I really hope this message reaches someone in the design department of Bungie. I really loved playing the beta! The gameplay is fantastic however, I have a few issues and they probably won't be resolved before the discs get pressed and shipped. -No split screen. I find it very discouraging that more and more FPS games don't support this option. I have a son and husband who I love to play video games with. I think its unrealistic that in order to co-op with them on the same system, is probably impossible. We shouldn't have to buy two consoles (regardless of brand), and then two copies of any game to play together. And then to buy more than one subscription for downloadible content. I realize this decision more than likely came from someone outside of the design department. At least I am assuming and hoping this is the case. It is a quite lucrative scenarios for any business, but you are also alienating possible gamers/customers... and for what? More money? I hope I dont have to deal with this type of business invision when I work for the big leauges in the gaming industry. I'll be fired before I stand for that. As of right now, I'm not preordering, nor am I upgrading my xbox 360 for an xbox one. I would have, if it was split screen so that I can have fun with my family. -More customization. I realize this was just the Beta test, but I certainly hope that not all the equipment/weapons looks the same, with different color textures to denote its rarity. That's cheap and lazy in my opinion. Starting out is understandable, but as this game progresses over time, I hope the standard is higher. -in game chat. I was talking on my headset, and the Beta was recognizing it with the sound/speaker icon in the lower right hand corner. I could not hear anyone in game chat. I am assuming this feature was turned off? Again, I really enjoyed playing the Beta. Thanks for bringing a fun and familiar game play on a big scale that MMORPGs have to the console.
