*Loot drop rates/quality for enemies should be dependent on level comparisons and enemy rank. Like a level 8 killing level 1s and 2s shouldn't be getting greens, while the same level 8 should be getting a higher chance for loot when killing level 11s. At the same time defeating a Devil Walker / Named Boss / Elder,Noble,Reaver should yield you better loot. I've killed about 10 Devil Walkers and have gotten nothing but Glimmer.
*The ratio of getting items at you level to getting items that are higher or lower than your level should be higher. Buying 10 items from Mr. Cryptarch typically gives me 8 level Nine items and 2 level Eight. Should be more like 5 level Eights, 3 Level Nines, and 2 Level Six-Sevens.
*How you obtain items from PvPing should be explained. I'm sure most people think it works off of a K/D ratio or how much your scored that match, but I think it is actually working off of invisible Crucible Reputation milestones. Allowing us to understand how this system works would impede many exclamatory remarks.
*Goldchests should only be able to open by the person receiving credit for it, and a person should not get credit for it unless they loot the container. I'm pretty sure I stole many of these from friends/allies before I realized what they were. Especially in the Strike mission where I can't communicate with the other people because they were not automatically forced into a fireteam with me and won't join when I send them invites.
*Force teams into fireteams when matchmaking so that they can talk to each other. Personally I think it would be pretty cool if we had the option to turn on a zone chat where we can talk to anyone who was nearby/in the same zone as us, but that is an idea suggestion not feedback.
The Interceptor is a tank and should be treated with respect, but the Sandbox team made some tweaks to reduce the “apocalyptic firestorm” factor a bit. The largest change is a lower rate of fire, with an additional delay between shots. This encourages the pilot to take aimed shots instead of just spamming rockets. More subtle changes include reducing the rocket blast radius, and shrinking the “arming shape” that allows the rockets to airburst on flying targets.
Even with these changes, we felt that having two of them on First Light is less interesting than having a single Interceptor for both teams to fight over. At the start of each match, each team is given a single Pike, with another neutral Pike up for grabs. Additional Pikes will respawn throughout the match near the Control Zones. The Interceptor will spawn on a delay.
-If we're going to lower the "arming shape" and rate of fire we should be increasing the blast radius, thereby making it more like a Scorpion in Halo. Sounds like we're making the Interceptor's weapon more like a really slow firing Gauss Warthog Turret.
In summary, thank you for the great Beta and letting us players become part of the team.
