The Ghost Edition - This Isn't Right
It's sold out everywhere... and people are selling copies on eBay, sometimes multiple copies, for twice the retail price or higher. It's not right. You have so many people who want to buy it, and instead of meeting demand and allowing Bungie to receive the profit, all you have is scalpers out there taking advantage of their fellow gamers. I hope that you'll reconsider this situation and make it right by doing something unprecedented in the industry - increase the number that you're releasing, so that all gamers who want to purchase it can do so, and stop the scalpers dead in their tracks.

It's unbelievable for me but I believe what you say: here in Belgium I pre-order 2 ghost edition the first day. Today a friend call me and ask me if I can still have one, I phoned to the shop and it's Ok. The Ghost edition are still available here. Sorry for my english I'm french speaking.

4 RepliesI agree completely. They should have made it 1 per person and because they didn't people went out and bought 2-10 of them to make a profit when the extras they bought should go to the Destiny fans that didn't pre-order it soon enough.

I wanted one too but I guess I'll be holding onto some of my money a bit longer. I rarely get special editions but really wanted that one. After the beta, I'm even more disappointed I couldn't preorder Ghost. Maybe Destiny 2 then... (Destinies?, Still Destined? D2? Nah. The Mighty Ducks wouldn't like that. Emilio!)

Extremely disappointed that I will not be able to get the Ghost Edition. I practically never order such special editions. But after seeing Destiny with the Beta play I knew this was one that I would spend the extra amount for. At least I was able to upgrade to the Limited Edition. I think it should have been at least an ability to pre-order, up to a certain date after the beta test (i.e., 31 July), and you receive the special Ghost at a later date. At least then they could have gotten a leg up on how many to make and maybe curtail this scalping that will happen.

This will always happen, with every release. Bungie/Activision can't control who sells things on after they pre-ordered it. So if the individual wants to be a money schemin **** then so be it. I agree, it's selfish and unfair for those legimately wanting this to play, but nothing can be done about things like this sadly.
