For a game so focused on cooperation among players and with such an extensive focus on non-verbal communication given that you cannot talk with players not in your Fireteam, it seems odd we have yet to see one of the most effective methods of communicating.
In Dark Souls, you communicate by gestures and messages on the ground. Now, the messages would be tedious for Destiny, so those wouldn't work here. But gestures? Gestures we already have. But there's one we are missing. Can you guess it?
I'll give you a hint.
That's right. How are we going to Praise the Sun in Destiny? Bungie has commented dozens to hundreds of times of how beautiful their game is, and how players will 'just sit and watch the sunset' in the game. That's great and all, but do you REALLY think that qualifies as Praising the Sun? Not as much as actually Praising the Sun it doesn't. Therefore I propose that we on Bungie.net band together and request a Praise the Sun gesture be added to Destiny. This would be much better than generic gestures such as waving, and would add a new layer of depth to player interaction in Destiny.
I thank you for your consideration and support. And remember... Praise the Sun!

All I want is proximity chat as a turned on turned off option in the explore levels of destiny, that way I can actually make friends in game and form fireteams on the fly with people my own level... Seems obvious, I do understand that they don't want other gamers experience ruined, well those other gamers should be able to have the option to disable prox chat if they want... solves both sides problems as far as I can tell.
