Personally, I'd get a little sad remembering all the times my and my brothers played Mario party, Toy Story, and even when I soloed my way through Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. They're a good company, but reusing successful franchises won't help much longer much to my dismay.

Edited by aBallisticToucan: 7/20/2014 8:59:55 PMYes I would, but they won't. 0% chance. All of the doomsayers are forgetting,
-The massive, massive amount of money Nintendo has. -The fact that Nintendo has had consoles in the past that sold much worse than the Wii U, while Nintendo still wasn't as big as it is today. -The Wii U's largest area of failure is in the 'hardcore gaming' atmosphere. You need to remember that Nintendo's marketing is just as big in Japan, where things like Xbox and Call of Duty aren't nearly as much of a threat. -Nintendo's still doing great with its fans in all other areas. There are just as many fandomish teenagers that love Nintendo as there are MLG Call of Duty boys. Also, Nintendo isn't a "magical 90s brand" that kids aren't growing up with today. -Nintendo's games are pretty iconic. You have to remember that they're still making money off of endorsements before even taking game sales into the equation.
I don't support Nintendo over anyone else or even own a Wii U. It's just pretty obvious that Nintendo's not on its knees like people seem to think it is.

Gather all my nintendo stuff. Games, toys, blankets (I really like Nintendo when I was little) pie them up and guard them with a crossbow. Ain't nobody touching my OoT and N64.
-
Yes. Nintendo's always had the best exclusives, and they're the only company no one ever bitches about.
-
Not really.
-
After some of the decisions they've been making, no.
-
Nope.
-
No not really.
-
Yes. Nintendo has been making some of the best video games.
-
while I would be a bit sad, and I would miss the games like Mario and stuff, chances are other companies will swoop in and snatch that shit up. Nintendo needs to stop focusing everything they have on making their games and also focus on third party games, because that will bring in a lot of revenue. they just keep making a lot of bad business choices, so I wouldn't be too sad.
-
Yes I would as a small child I have played their games and still I'm 16 years old and I still enjoy their games and if they died out I wouldn't know what to do.
-
Nope, I was more nostalgic for the PlayStation but I'll never forget my old Nintendo memories.
-
Yeah, I will.
-
No. I don't care for any of their franchises, so I wouldn't e bothered.
-
I will not be the least bit sad
-
-
No no no and more no
-
It would be a mercy killing

I just had this discussion with the girl I like. That company is going to die if they don't find something new to do. Zelda and Mario are fun, but they can't carry Nintendo forever.
-
I would miss Pokemon, SSB, and Mario Kart but other than that, nah
-
Not really.

One: #Gaming Two: You act like Nintendo only reuses old IPs, while the other two consoles only make new IPs. Three: I think Sony and Microsoft will be the most upset. They won't have anyone making new ideas to copy.
-
It would suck but wouldn't mind to much
-
I would miss them but if they can't help themselves I'm not sure.
-
-
I doubt that it would, but in my personal opinion, I would like them a lot more if they didn't make every game based around their more known IP's. Like make a new kind of game with a new fresh face to enter the fray, and pave a new road. Like for instance, I loved the concept for Super Mario Galaxy, but the only problem I had with it was the fact that is was Mario; This was the perfect set up for a new fresh character separate from their others, but no, they did marty-O.
