Hey guys,
So what about the interaction between players? I kind of find it awkward to just stand there and wave to each other and not being able to communicate in a Co-Op shooter. Or at least in the City. There's no chat function as well.
I never met somebody who used their headset in a strike or coop mission, which actually would come in pretty handy - plus it would be more fun. (If there weren't any little kids trolling the chat)
What do you guys think?

Edited by TakeCoverOrDie: 7/19/2014 6:54:42 PMThey will most likely add an option for ingame proximity chat so you can talk to people but they won't force it because people also like to run solo. That's why I did hunter.

That's why they should add in proximity chat. And have a wave unlock full chat between players once both have waves at each other.

no one dances with me when im capping points.

I always give someone a friendly wave

Bungie made it so you can't talk to anybody exept your fireteam...
-
I used my Mic in devils liar to call the other guys noobs. Granted I took down 2/3 of the computer in the first section before they even got to me.
-
Mics only work in fire teams. Even in strike missions it won't work unless your all in a fire team.
-
Really I have my headset all the time, when doing strikes and explore? Lol

I agree. I know this game isn't a MMO, however having some better/easier ways to communicate would be nice. Hardly anybody have their headsets connected.
-
Well, the tower should definitely incorporate at least text chat, because it's a pretty silent "social hub".

I agree I did several co-op missions and one one was using a headset would be nice if more people did. I don't think area chat will work because when the game launches there will be just to many people talking
