at most, an SSD is limited to only [i]maybe [/i]10 years of use because it incurs some physical damage from each use. SSDs are Typically more costly per GB than an HDD. smaller form factor than most HDDs. typically come with some form of built-in encryption(hardware or software, depends on brand/model).
an HDD can last longer than that but is bigger, louder, hotter and slower.
it is also much more cheaper per GB than an SSD and much more common.
installing cricketal programs such as OS on an SSD speeds up performance. but eventually the drive [i]will[/i] die.
installing on HDD is slower and doesn't provide boosts, but offers stability.
