Whenever I played Halo and went on a killing spree in multiplayer, nothing killed my buzz like a random teammate splattering with a ghost…
Edit: Personally as long as they balance it out, I'd like to see it in PvP

You see a comrade in the distance struggling a close quarters battle. You aim a rocket by BOTH of them but only the guy on the other team dies. That becomes abusive. Grenades, same story. It can lead to players launching grenades in someone else's fight while their comrades can casually stand in the middle of a vortex void grenade and dance without being hit. So...maybe there should be some friendly fire...that's reasonable. It would be whack if there's a small room about to flank 1 guy on your team and you aim a rocket at all of them, even your team mates standing right by the explosion. Suddenly you get a quadruple kill or more while your team mates unharmed even though the rocket landed closest to him. Lastly imagine a over powered vehicle. Launching heavy shots at enemies fighting your comrades while the enemies are obliterated and your team's dancing in the rain of fire without a care. Lol. It feels fun playing without penalties. But sooner or later you find yourself on the short end of the stick and it becomes a buzz kill all too often.
